Making Progress - First Week Back

I’ve been back home for about a week now (9 days to be exact) and I was starting to worry that I wasn’t moving in the right direction. That all changed when I just stepped on the scale and it revealed I’m 4 pounds lighter.

That may not seem like a lot to some people, but in my book, that’s damn good. I’m now 4 pounds lighter than when I started and I plan to continue in that direction. My enthusiasm and my desire hasn’t waivered in the least; if anything, it’s increased.

Watching some of the slender girls in my dance class and even watching the women from the exercise videos prancing around in the body I hope to achieve one day helps to keep my motivation up a lot moreso than it did before.

Rest assured, I’m not about to let myself get lazy now. I’ve come a good distance and I’m taking it all in stride. Four pounds this week, four pounds next week, and before I know it, I’ll have lost 40 pounds. The mere thought is just exciting!
