30 Day Plan
Starting Wednesday December 19, 2007 (which is officially my next grocery shopping day) through Friday January 18, 2008, I will be following the basic 30 Day Plan to Fitness outlined below. On the blog, I’ll document how it goes and my overall results when it’s completed.
Days 1 - 10: Follow the 10 Day Quick Start plan provided with the Turbo Jam package. It basically entails eating a diet low in carbs, high in protein, while incorporating a lot of cardio exercise with some toning/weight training.
Days 11 - 14: A 4 day cleansing fast and recovery. The first day of the fast, I will slowly be weaning myself off solid food, the second and third day will be liquids only, and the final day will be slowly adding solid food back into my diet. Light exercise only.
Days 14-30: Body detox and colon cleanse. Chances are, this will take longer than 16 days to fully accomplish, but during this time, I will allow my body to detox, relax, and cleanse itself while I train it to like healthier foods (i.e. vegetables). Moderate exercise.
Quite frankly, I’m not sure how much weight I’ll have lost at the end of 30 days if I stick with the plan, but I’m almost certain it will be at least 10 pounds. But, I’m not doing it entirely for the weight loss, I’m actually doing it to get my body back in alignment so that I’ll be able to more easily achieve my weight loss goals.
